In our last update, we brought you the news that the WSTB gave the go-ahead to join up workforce planning across health and care in the region.
As part of this, a workforce design and planning network is being launched to share expertise and develop capacity in the workforce planning field.
The next phase of the programme will look at cancer, frailty, and learning disability and autism. Sessions have been organised involving a wide range of stakeholders to agree the scope and outcomes for these areas.
The project is being funded by our partners Health Education England (HEE) as part of a half a million-pound investment to take forward exciting workforce transformation initiatives agreed by the Board in November last year.
