Across the north east and north Cumbria we are working together to build the workforce we need to secure services for the future. Tackling our shared challenges around workforce is one step in the journey to become an integrated care system (ICS). This bulletin provides information for everyone working in health and care about plans to grow our workforce, support and develop leaders at all levels and be the best place to work. Interim NHS People Plan

NHS England/Improvement has published the interim People Plan which sets an agenda to tackle the range of workforce challenges in health and care. Read more

Workforce operating model

Workforce transformation hub

Our colleagues at Health Education England in the north east and north Cumbria have secured funding to set up a workforce transformation hub. Read more
